I am going
to create a product the helps people stop their nicotine addiction. Because I
do not have the expertise to create such a product, I am going to have to
consult with someone who does. I hoping the formulate some sort of pill that
addicts can take. This pill will release different things into their body that
will relieve addicts of their constant nicotine craving. This is going to be
something that the individual will have to take daily until they feel they are
fully ridded of their addition. Another product I am thinking about creating is
a tablet that dissolves on the tongue. This product will be for people that are
addicted to chewing tobacco. While I know products like these are currently available
on the market, none of them are very effective. My goal is to create extremely
effective products that nicotine addicts want to take.
Tyler,
ReplyDeleteI think this is a tricky problem to implement. You mention that a similar product exists on the market but is not effective. Why do you think that is? It may be too hard to formulate. The specialized labor it would cost to make the formula also might drive up the cost to manufacture. This may cause a lot of your ‘who’ to dwindle. For instance, college students who are addicted to nicotine would not be able to afford an expensive pill and are likely to rather deal with the nicotine addiction.

Hey Tyler, I agree that helping people with nicotine addiction is a worth while venture. I wouldn’t know what to make that hasn’t been done before but I’m interested to continue reading about your project. I would say that your product is going to have to be something new that we haven’t seen, or maybe just find a way to market an existing product better. I think this can get tricky though because the whole thing wrong with Juul is how they’ve marketed their product to seem trendy.
ReplyDeleteTyler, I agree and stand by your claim that nicotine addiction is a huge problem that needs to be permanently solved by this point. The target audience (nicotine addicts) and product market (patches, therapy) is very large so I am interested and curious to see how you tackle this issue. How would your product separate you from other competitors? Great work!
