18A - Create a Customer Avatar
Any person can be a nicotine addict regardless of their race, ethnicity, or religion. Young people, old people, and everyone in between can be addicts. My customers have all kinds of different hobbies, cars, favorite TV shows, favorite books, favorite politicians, etc. They all come from different family backgrounds and they all have gone through different life journeys. The one thing they all have in common is that they are addicted to nicotine and they all need to take actions to end this addiction. I have a lot of things in common with my customer avatar. While I am definitely not a nicotine addict, I am unique just like they are. I am sure many of them like a lot of the same things I like, but I am also sure many of them like a lot of different things than what I like.

Hey Tyler! despite your broad audience you could narrow it down a little. Is it targeted towards people who want to quit? Is it for people who vape who want to lower their Nicotine consumption in their vapes? I know many companies target younger audiences with candy flavored products, is yours orally ingested and flavored? I know there's a lot of people who smoke and they're all vastly different, but even bandaids are marketed towards kids and adults separately.
ReplyDeleteTyler,
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely right when you say that anyone can be a nicotine addict. Today, it's very easy to fall into the trap, and we've seen anyone and everyone do it. However, it is possible to group your customers based on things they have in common and target them in different ways. For example, the ways you would sell your products to high school students is not the same way you'd sell them to adults.
